We announce the death of David Wayne Allen of Elora, Tennessee, born in Winchester, Tennessee, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 60. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Willie Allen; and his daughter Hana Allen. He is survived by: his wife Connie Allen; his son Josh Allen (Veronica); his mother Dorothy Allen; his brother Joe Allen (Sandy); his niece Haylee Allen; his nephew Brandon Allen; his stepchildren, Emmett McPherson, Rachel McPherson and Trace McPherson; and his grandsons, Wyatt Allen and Hunter Lane. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
