It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle Barnett of Englewood, Tennessee, who passed away on November 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doyle Barnett to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Susanna Brock Barnett; his parents, Henry "Pie" Barnett and Cora Barnett; and his brother Jerry Barnett. He is survived by: his children, Teresa (Randy Mason), Anna Gregory and Jerry; his daughter-in-law Vicki Standridge; his sister Norma Jackson; and his grandchildren, Amanda (Tommy Carver), Tina (Mickey Mendenhall), Chris (Ashley Barnett) and Curt (Julia "Missy" Standridge). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
