He was predeceased by: his parents, D. C. Martin and Frances Martin; and his brothers, Wayne Martin, Ralph Martin and Tommy Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Martin (Debbie) of Etowah, Tennessee and Melissa "Missy" Griffin (Chris) of Hixson, Tennessee; his grandchild Morgan Strozak McCroskey (Jason) of Chattanooga, TN; his children, Brooke Martin Haugen (Jordan) of Athens, TN and Mattie Strozak of Chattanooga, TN; his great grandchildren, Luna, Roman McCroskey of Chattanooga, TN and Emily Anne Haugen; and his siblings, David Martin of Englewood, TN, Alice Martin Crawford (Homer) of Madisonville, TN, Joyce Martin Huckabee (David) of Englewood, TN, Jane Martin of Englewood, TN and Shirley Ivens of Englewood, TN.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A masonic service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunrise Cemetery.
