He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Dean Patterson and Karen Kincannon Patterson of Englewood, Tennessee; his children, Deborah "Abigail" Patterson, Clara Patterson, Ronald "Clark" Patterson and William Dean Patterson; his grandmother Ella Gibson; his sister Candice Patterson Gonzalez (Salvador Gonzalez); and his sibling's children, Daniel Gonzalez, David Gonzalez and Karen-Maeleigh Gonzalez. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special musician friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home of Athens (400 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
