He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Allen and Fleta Mae Masingale Hembree. He is survived by: his wife Janice Faye Smith Hembree of Englewood, Tenn.; his sons, Jeff (Beverly Hembree) and Jeremy Hembree (Stephanie Turner) of Englewood; his grandchildren, Bethany Stokes (Hunter), Whitney Hembree and Zeke Hembree; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Madilynn Stokes; and his siblings, Yvonne Brock of Englewood, Janice Dodson of Etowah, Teresa Wattenbarger (Joe) of Sweetwater and Lynn "Spider" Hembree (Sarah) of Englewood.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727-1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
