She was predeceased by: her parents, Edsel Ford Gray and Edith Maureen Jones Gray; her husband Paul Dwight Whitaker; and her son Darren Gray Whitaker. She is survived by: her children, Brad Whitaker (Emma), Marcus Tate Whitaker (Emily Weakley Northcliffe) and Jessica Dawn Hardin; her brother Donald Jones Gray; her grandchildren, Taersa Taylor, Andrew Hunter Whitaker, Hannah Whitaker and LaBrea Boykin; her stepgranddaughters, Amanda Taylor and Alisha Harvey; her great grandchild Zayne Taylor; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jermey Selph Jr., Autumn Elkins, Clara Taylor and Bryton Harvey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Nave Funeral Home (4639 W Main St, Erin, TN 37061). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home (4639 W Main St, Erin, TN 37061).
