He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hylemon and Wilma Jarrett Hylemon; and his sister Patricia Smith. He is survived by: his children, Elisha Mitchell (Ashley) and Matt Hylemon (Bonnie); and his grandchildren, Neeley Mitchell, Creed Mitchell, Will Hylemon and Eli Hylemon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nave Funeral Home (4639 W Main St, Erin, TN 37061). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home (4639 W Main St, Erin, TN 37061). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
