He is survived by: his children, Mary Jeane Walsh Avera, Phalon Campau, James Gilbert, Phillip Gilbert, Megan Blackburn, Leon Walsh, David "Stanley" Abdallah and Kimberly Boyd. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
