He is survived by: his wife Nelda Wallace; his children, Mike Carter (Lori), Kim Dunavant (Kenneth) and Tracey Perry; his grandchildren, Caleb Dunavant (Tabitha), Ashley Adkins (Jeremy), Andrew Carter (Kelly), Abby Mathis (Aaron), Carrie Dunavant (Blake) and Alexis Perry; and his great grandchildren, Emma Dunavant, Caylee Dunavant, Elijah Dunavant, Raelynn Carter, Bryson Adkins, Cameron Welch, Jakob Carter, Carter Mathis, Emily Kate Mathis, Griffin Mathis and Beau Welch.
