He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Carr; his daughter Elisha Regina Carr; his stepmother Willine Austin; his siblings, Elder Michael Thomas (Regina), Watson Thomas Jr., George Kevin Thomas (Sylvia), Rev. Freda Hall Crutchfield (Carmichael), Addie Smith (Johnny), Jewel Robinson (Tommy) and Virginia Alim (Facil); his brother-in-law Sammy Marable; his cousin Pauline Cooksey; and his niece Sheila Congers (Shanty Coulter). He is also survived by loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Nave Funeral Home (4639 W Main St, Erin, TN 37061). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas Cemetery (1706 Kizer Ridge Rd, Erin, TN 37050).
