He was predeceased by: his father Rafael Saldana; his wife Agustina Diaz Preciado-Saldana; and his brother Antonio Saldana. He is survived by: his mother Teodora Ramirez; his children, Laura Saldana, Rafael Saldana, Joel Saldana, Rogelio Saldana, Maria Viridiana Saldana and Janely Saldana; his grandchildren, Karen, Axel, Jonathan, Dylan, Liam, Emmanuel and Maciel Alejandro; and his siblings, Jesus, Juvencio, Lucio, Lucia, Audelia, Paula and Candelaria.
