She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Miller and Edna Miller (Duncan); her daughter Helen Shereen Wallace; and her sisters, Eleanor Dugger (Raymond) and Joyce Miller.

She is survived by: her daughter Marlo LaPorte (Sam); her grandchildren, Drew LaPorte (Robin) and Katie LaPorte Cavage (Cru) of Austin, TX; her great grandchildren, Cooper LaPorte, Isla Marie LaPorte and Cade Cavage; her sister Jean Foster (Harold "Buck" Foster); and her close friend Mary Humphries. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
