Ellen Delgado Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 15, 2026, at the age of 93, Ellen Delgado of Erwin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ellen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Mathes and Belle Mathes; and her husband Arthur Delgado. She is survived by: her children, Susan Delgado of Bluff City and Fred Harris; her daughter-in-law Patty Harris of Erwin; her niece Carol Ann Whaley (Helen Hyder); and her grandson Brian Roberts of Springfield, OR. She is also survived by two great granddaughters and two great-great granddaughters.
