It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Campbell of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Gary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gary farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Beatrice and Thomas Jefferson "Buster" Campbell, Jr.; and his wife Bonnie Maxine Ellerbrook. He is survived by: his children, Terry Ellerbrook (Martha) of Lubbock, Texas, Bobby Ellerbrook (Barbara) of Clarendon, Kim Campbell of Jonesborough and Chris Campbell (Missy) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and his brothers, Pete Campbell (Becky) of Farmersville and Jeff Campbell (Mona) of Delores, Colorado. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
