He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Nelson and Judy Bell Bailey (White); and his brother Frank Jeff Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Nelson; his children, Harold W. Nelson, Jr. (Tina), Trula Nelson, Kathy Nelson, Johnny Nelson and Mattie Nelson; his grandchildren, Maranda LeAnn Honeycutt (Justin) and Dustin Wayne Nelson; his great grandchild Sadie Grace Honeycutt; and his brother Robert Nelson (Freda).
