With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Evan Ray Johnson in Erwin, Tennessee, born in Greeneville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2026 at the age of 36. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Johnson and Rebbecca Johnson; his birth mother Ida Emmons; and his siblings, Adam Johnson, Jo Beth Johnson and Alicia Arrington.
He is survived by: his significant other Kesha Johnson (Edwards); his siblings, Scott Johnson (Shelly), Tammy Brown (Mark) and Jaina Emmons; his nieces and nephews, Daniel Johnson (Summer), Chris Johnson (Arianna), Timothy Johnson, Brenda Scerba (Brandon), Jessica Johnson, Gavin Bange, Bryeton Bange, Benjamin Cervantes and Serenity Edwards; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Victoria, Raya Johnson, Riley Johnson and Aaron Johnson; his grandmother Della Chandler; his close friend Mark Katinsky of Michigan; and his pet Carly. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home to go towards his services.
