She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McKinney and Ida Evelyn Tipton Honeycutt; her son Mitchell Bowman; and her siblings, Betty Jo Harris (Herbert), Norman McKinney (Mae), Diana McCurry (Ralph) and Ricky Honeycutt.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Bowman; her daughter Kim Bowman Sims (Brian); and her grandchildren, Daniel Sims, Mitchell Sims and Sarah Sims. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Jean to: Calvary Baptist Church, 540 Adams Street, Erwin, TN 37650.
