He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Tipton and Matilda Tilson Tipton; and his sisters, Nina Roselee Craven and Ida Mae Soulier. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Ferguson (Todd) of Erwin, Angela "Angie" Wilson (Stephen) of Erwin and Tabitha Allen (Ronnie Williams) of Erwin; his grandchildren, Jacob Allen (Lacey), Casey Allen (Hannah Lopez), Elijah Ferguson (Katie Riddle) and Braeden Ferguson; and his great grandchildren, Adeline Allen, Arlo Allen, Leon Allen and Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
