She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Charles Edwards and Jenny Ingle Edwards; her husband Jim Garland; and her niece Sydney Paige Masters. She is survived by: her daughters, Tialynn Whitson of Johnson City and Mary Ann Garland of Erwin; her grandchildren, Scotty Greene, Eli McNalley and Hannah McNalley; and her siblings, Kathy Masters of Erwin, Doug Edwards (Tammy) of Unicoi and Joy Moffitt (Steve) of Johnson City.
