She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Howard Doty and Beryl Edwards Doty; and her siblings, Jane Doty, Shirley Beam and Willard Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Shook of Erwin and Charlie Shook of Erwin; her granddaughter Lauren Shook; and her brothers, Lonnie Doty (Teresa) of Unicoi and Dwight Doty of Unicoi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
