She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Peterson and Nell Tolley Peterson; and her fiancé Chris Maricle. She is survived by: her siblings, Timothy "Tim" Peterson of Elizabethton and Rebecca "Becky" Tilson (Terry) of Erwin; her aunts, Joan Adkins, Arlene Ervin, Pat Thomas, Pearl Peterson and Charlotte McCurry; and her nephew Christopher Peterson. She is also survived by several cousins also survive and many friends whom she loved like her own family.
