She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gilbert and Melda Tinker Gilbert; and her daughter-in-law Diane Whitson. She is survived by: her sons, Todd Thompson (Jane) of Flag Pond and Chris Thompson of Unicoi; her grandchildren, Emmie Thompson Burger (Ryan), Zachary Thompson and Brock Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Paizlee Burger, Knox Burger and Tatum Thompson.
