He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Tipton and Marie Tipton; and his daughter Christa M. Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn J. Tipton; his children, Mona Tipton Sills (Gary) and Maynard Wesley Tipton II; his grandsons, Shane Hicks (Joyce) and Daniel Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Cyrilla Hicks, Rayder HIcks and Carolyn "Maggie" Hicks. He is also survived by several other family members, friends and church friends.
