She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. McInturff and Arlene Sams McInturff; her husband Ernest Grady Hilemon; her children, Annette, Sandra Jean and Michael Alan Hilemon; her siblings-in-law, Sammie, Lee Roy Hilemon, Juanita Hilemon and Nancy Stiles; her parents-in-law, Carl L. and Katherine Morrow Hilemon; her cousin Frieda Newman (Bill); and her close friends, Barbara Higgins and Shirley Britt.
She is survived by: her son John G. Hilemon (Anjanette); her grandson John G. Hilemon, II (Meredith); her siblings-in-law, Ronnie Hilemon (Kathy) and Linda Hilemon; her aunt Patsy Hampton; and her close friends, Harry Britt, Fred, Stella Horning, Freddie, Fran Deakins, Robert, Donna Adams, Phillip and Lisa Bland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home and Chapel (720 Ohio Ave, Erwin, TN 37650). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Evergreen Cemetery (1100 7th St, Erwin, TN 37650).
