The memory of Sally Elizabeth Ramsey of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Sally may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sally touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyde Bradford and Gladys Brinkley Bradford; her husband Gene Ramsey; and her siblings, Jack, Dick Bradford (Judy), Gale Williams (Lynn) and Jessie Gentry (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Ramsey Reed; her grandsons, Raben of Erwin and Boone Reed of Erwin; and her brother-in-law Jerel Ramsey (Phyllis) of Blountville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (540 Adams St, Erwin, TN 37650). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1100 7th St, Erwin, TN 37650).
