She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Park Barnett and Sue Ella Barnett (Laughren); her husband Freddy Mack McCurry; her children, David Hensley (Noella), Melanie Gillenwater (Roy), Randy Hensley (Mari), Darren Hensley and Danny Hensley; and her siblings, AJ Barnett, Dot Cooper, Everett Barnett and Peggy Bennett. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
