The world bids farewell to Terry Wayne Tapp of Erwin, Tennessee, departing on July 20, 2025 at the age of 76. Terry leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Terry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Terry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Tapp, Sr. and Beatrice Linville Tapp; his wife Katheryn Hopson Tapp; and his sister Susie Masters. He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Laws (Terry) of Marshall and Regina Harrison (Jack) of Elizabethton; and his grandchildren, Leah Bennett (Jarod), Adam Metcalf and Caleb Harrison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
