She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Friesland and Flora Payne Friesland; her husband R. P. Green; her daughter Kathryn Green Masters; and her great grandchild Jackson Green.
She is survived by: her son Allen Green (Janet); her grandchildren, Paul Green (Sandy), Tracy McInturff (Andy) and Robin McAllister (Brian); her great grandchildren, Austin Green (Molly), Alex, Max Green, Andrew Morris (Kayla), Nathaniel Lingerfelt, Hunter, Drew McInturff, Noah and Mia McAllister; and her great great grandchildren, Lewis, River, Ellie Green, Silas, Mia Morris, Hendrix McAllister and Oakley Lingerfelt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Virginia to Unicoi Baptist Church, 100 Tennessee Street, Unicoi, TN 37692 where Virginia was a lifelong member.
