Walter Harris Obituary
We announce the death of Walter Harris of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 86. Walter will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Harris and Bessie Gillis Harris; and his wife Patricia "Trish" Ellen Brown Harris. He is survived by: his children, Walter Pat Harris (Marcie) of Unicoi County, Lisa Saylor (Jerry) of Unicoi County, Michael Harris (Penny) of Unicoi County and Sarah Lynch (Trevor) of Unicoi County; his grandchildren, Nicholas Harris (Mendy), Drew Schwenke (Gary), Sarah Jayne Jarnigan, Scott Saylor (Mallorie), Aaron Saylor (Karie), Kamille Harris (Alex Rembert), Bradly Harris (Emily Burchett), Emily Rice (Ethan) and Rachel Lynch; his great grandchildren, Blake Schwenke, Skyler Dykes, Madison Jayne, Londyn Hatcher, Nolan Hatcher, Beckham Rembert, Jaxon Rice and Amelia Harris; and his brother David Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
