As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Clara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen T. Armstrong and Linnie Louise Bolden Armstrong; and her husbands, Hoy Brown Garrett and David Tant. She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Garrett of Estill Springs and Phillip Garrett (Tracy) of Taylor, Michigan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grant Funeral Services (103 Peters Rd, Estill Springs, TN 37330). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Franklin Memorial Gardens (Cowan Hwy, Winchester, TN 37398).
