It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Reed Smith (Estill Springs, Tennessee), who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Randford Smith (Eunice Hazel Johnson Smith); his wife Edna Laverne Rittenhouse Smith; his son Jimmy Prince; his grandson Kenneth Dewayne Scott; and his great grandchild Harper Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Scott (Kenneth) of Estill Springs, James Smith (Lisa) of Chickamauga, Barbara Thomas (Jeff) of Sequatchie and Nathan Smith (LaDonna) of Tullahoma; and his brother Raymond Lee Smith of East Ridge, Tenn..
