She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Vinnie Mae Blackwood Dickson; her husband Bob Garner; her children, Sharon Garner Andrews and George William Garner; and her siblings, Gene Dickson, Albert Dickson, Thelma Dickson, Edith Flowers and Edna Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Harris (Mark) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Nancy Niedergeses (Tim) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Robert Glenn Garner (Donna) of Ethridge, TN, John David Garner of Ethridge, TN and Albert L. Garner of Ethridge, TN; her grandchildren, Mark Andrews, Brandy Andrews Jones (Randy), Elizabeth Harris Burks (Brian), Sara Harris Ghirawoo (Michael), James Robert Harris (Tina), John William Harris (Fernanda), Robert G. Garner III, Tiffany Garner Pendergraph (Matt) and Richard Garner; and her sister-in-law Nancy Garner Langdon of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by twenty-six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to Sacred Heart School or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
