He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude White and Mary Lipscomb White; his former life partner Joyce Michael White; and his siblings, C. A. White, Jr., Sammy White and Willie Ruth White.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Pettus White of Ethridge, TN; his children, Michael White (Darla) of Columbia, TN, Scott White (Kellye) of Leipers Fork, TN, Wade Pettus (Sheila) of Loretto, TN, Anissa Mashburn (Mark) of Five Points, TN and Joann Hannah (Kenny) of Leoma, TN; his grandchildren, Matthew White (Nicole), Jacob White (Samantha), Zachary White, Bryce Hannah, Wyatt Pettus, Crystal White, Gracie Mashburn and Bailey Hannah; his great grandchildren, Ellie White, Sawyer White and Landon Smith; and his close friend Harvey "Chubby" Kirk.

The family suggests memorials be made to The Gideons International, The Lawrence County Education Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Second Harvest Food Bank.
