Barnes; her children, Robert Thornton of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Clifford Thornton of Shelbyville, TN, Rose Thornton of Lewisburg, TN, Misty Thornton of Lawrenceburg, TN and Flora May Brewer (Robert) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and her siblings, Robert Whitehead (Cindy) of Portland, TN, Randy Whitehead (Michelle) of Lewisburg, TN, David Thompson of Texas, Sheila King of Lewisburg, TN, Mary Sue Greggs (Gerald) of Lewisburg, TN, Sandy Collins of Culleoka, TN and Barbara Graham of Columbia, TN. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401).
