He was predeceased by : his sister Debbie Conner Owens; and his stepson Drew Womack. He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Haggart; his children, Addison Watson (Hunter) of Manchester, TN, Aaron Haggart of Etowah and Cole Haggart (Payton) of Athens, TN; his stepchildren, Holly, Hope Robinson of Englewood, TN and Blake Womack; his grandchildren, Valor Haggart, Bria Robinson, Nollie Robinson, Jax Robinson and Nova Robinson; and his siblings, Irene Hearn of Etowah, TN, Ann Hughes of Illinois and Butch Conner of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Phil Hughes wrote a sympathy message

“I’m at a loss. Chuck was one of the best men and uncle. Any one would have the privilege to know. I use him as an example with my nieces and nephews. Just one of the things I learned and I learned young. Was where to tickle my mom. Granted mom wasn’t thrilled that I learned that from him.”
