He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rev. Buster and Maysie Lindner (Ervin). He is survived by: his parents, Mike McKenzie and Patricia McKenzie (Lindner) of Etowah; his aunt Mary Martin (Lindner); his close friend Trampus Land; and his aunts and uncles, Darlene Daniel (Roberts), Tena Elkins (Michael), Susan Herndon, Johnny Lindner, Jim McKenzie (Debra) and Gary Martin. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
