He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Newman and Betty Newman; and his siblings, Bill Newman and Ruth Ann Newman. He is survived by: his brothers, Dean Newman and Gerald (Terri Newman); his sister-in-law Becky Newman; his nephew Jake Newman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carly, Kaitlyn Cooper and Kira Locke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331).
