He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Ellis Blassingame; his parents, Tony Blassingame and Billie Blassingame; his grandson Seth Johnson; his son-in-law Jeff Johnson; his siblings, Geraldine Blassingame, Rosetta Winkler (Frank) and Jimmy Blassingame (Joyce); his nephew Larry Winkler; and his parents-in-law, Horace and Agnes Ellis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela (Ray Quinn), Amy (Darin Osborne) and Anita (Bill Ziats); his grandchildren, Hannah Osborne and David Osborne; and his sister Kathleen Stephens. He is also survived by several nephews, a niece, and cousins.
