He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Henry McDaniel and Nellie Sue McDaniel (McDonald); his wife Velma Imogene "Jean" McDaniel (Creasman); and his siblings, Gladys McDaniel, Ozella Pitner, Sue Sunderland Slade, Ava Robinson (McDaniel) and Glenn McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Michael McDaniel (Tammy), Barry McDaniel (Margaret) and Kimberly McDaniel; his sisters, Jo Franklin, Darlene McEwen and Wanda Arrington; his granddaughters, Krissy Parker (Willis), Robyn Fite, Tamara Langston and Jasmine Fite; his great grandchildren, Kaile Masingale (Drew), Macy Mason (Riley), Addie Parker, Kiara Fite, Aysiah Fite-Clements, Jaden Fite, Alexandra Fite-Clements and Kailani Fite; and his great great grandchildren, Maxxon Masingale, Oakley Mason, Lila Fite-Cesar, Phoenix Fite-Cesar and Nova Fite-Clements.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Etowah Cemetery (123 Etowah Cemetery Rd, Etowah, TN 37331).
In lieu of flowers- the family asks donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
