He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Tipton and Willie Tipton; and his siblings, Jimmy R. Tipton, Joan Tipton Smith, Evelyn Tipton Rowland and Billy Allen Tipton.
He is survived by: his children, C. Mike (Laura Tipton), Greg (Norma Tipton) and Tracey; his son-in-law Gene Hicks; his grandchildren, Brandi (Jeff Darnell), Nathan Tipton, Amanda (Nathan Bartell), Travis (Rhonda Tipton), Tyler Culberson and Katelyn Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Landyn Defriece, Maddux Bartell, Morgan Bartell, Madison Bartell, Charleigh Tipton and MaKenna Tipton.
