We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, Michael Allan Poteet of Etowah, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Michael Raymond Poteet; his grandparents, Floyd Leon and Bobbie Jean Newman; and his nephew Briar Morgan. He is survived by : his wife Scarlet Poteet; his son Christopher (Tier Pruett); his mother Deborah Lynn Christy; his sister Jeana; his brother-in-law Joe Louis Moffett II; his grandchildren, Eli, Nasin Morgan, Jonah Lee Pruitt and Beau Pruitt; his nephew Dusty Savage; his stepmother Diane Poteet; and his stepbrothers, Keith and Brian Tuck.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coghill Baptist Church. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
