We are sad to announce that, on April 15, 2023, at the age of 79, Shirley Jeanette VanDell of Etowah, Tennessee, born in Deerfield, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Palmer and Hazel Palmer (Cagle); her former husband Frank Charles McRae; her husband Richard VanDell; her brothers, Clyde Palmer, Larry Palmer and Jackie Palmer; and her son Jason Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Regina White of Decatur, Rosi Farris of Athens, Rita McRae (Ben) of Cleveland, Wynell Miller (Charles) of Raleigh and Rocky McRae (Sharon) of Etowah. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
