She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Granville Brown and Mary Elise Humphrey Brown. She is survived by: her husband Ted Powers of Fairview, TN; her daughters, Juli Moss and Holly Powers; her siblings, Keith Brown, Lynn Brown, Cherry Beckett and Jan Starkey; and her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Maddox and Hawkins Moss.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. - Lewis County (20 W 2nd St, Hohenwald, TN 38462). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Downey Cemetery (780 Centerville Hwy, Hohenwald, TN 38462).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gina's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
