She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ward and Martha Garner Ward; her husband Harvill Gilbert; the father of her children Robert Cartwright; her daughter Deborah Cartwright Ford; her brother Steve Ward; and her grandchildren, Michael Cartwright and Michelle Wybraniec.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Cartwright. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
