He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay, Sr. Armentrout and Hazel Armentrout; his sister Loretta Harper; and his grandparents, James, Lissie Blevins, Hiram and Bessie Armentrout.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Good; his children, Bryan Armentrout (Sonya) of Buford, GA and April Roberts (Scott) of Jonesborough; and his grandchildren, Conner Roberts, Brylee Armentrout and Claire Roberts. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbors and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home (1747 TN-93, Fall Branch, TN 37656). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
