It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Adams of Farner, Tennessee, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Fulton and Charlotte Gibson Newman; and her husband Ray Adams. She is survived by: her children, Steve (Patricia Adams) of Farner, TN, Linda (Chuck Gilreath) of Lenoir City, TN, Tom (Terri Adams) of Farner, TN and Rev. Paul (Sharon Adams) of Mineral Bluff, GA; her sister Hattie Lois Maney of Beech Island, SC; her grandchildren, Julie Wilson (Jon), Phillip Adams (Sarah) and Adam Gilreath (Angela); her great grandchildren, Ivie Riggle (Jacob), Iris Wilson, Ireland Wilson, Janie Wilson, Josie Adams, Silas Adams, Hunter Gilreath, River Gilreath, Brynn Gilreath, Zoe Green, Lilah Shields, Zeb Shields, Emma Payne and Ryan Payne; and her sisters-in-law, Lennie Stansbury (Lee) of Kingston, TN and Madge Jackson of Kingston, TN.
