He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Womble and Cora Womble; his sister Nancy Raper; his nephew Danny Raper; his son-in-law Adam Taylor; his grandson Nathaniel Womble; and his great grandchild Rylie Mae Mason.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Womble; his children, Darren Womble (Kristin), Karen Womble and Jessica Mason (Brence); and his stepchildren, Hope Taylor and Shawn Key. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 6 step grandchildren.
