She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hawkins and Bertha Parr Hawkins; her husband Charles Cheatham; and her siblings, John Henry Goodwin, Margaret Brown, Bonnie Cochran, Tom Hawkins and June Thomas.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law David Newman; her grandchildren, Rachel Kimsey (Chris Hardin), Matthew Kimsey and Hunter Newman (Abby); her great grandchildren, Makenna Stone, Laken Hardin, Lakota Hardin, Aycen Kimsey, Auden Kimsey, Kase Kimsey and Emory Kimsey; her nephews, Roy Cochran (Della Mae), Kenny Cochran (Jen), Mike Grindstaff (Lisa), Roger Hall, Junior Brown and Bill Brown; and her niece Teresa Dillard.
