He is survived by: his wife Calla Mae Miller; his children, James Denver Miller, Melissa Diane Witt (Jimmy) and Tammy Yvonne Pyle (John); his grandchildren, Tashina Diane Panter (Ryan Galloway) and Mataya Tavonne Rasar (Daniel); his great grandchild Magnolia Ray Rasar; his brother Cecil; his sister-in-law Pat Miller; his sister Ellen Miller; and his brother-in-law John Grizzell.
