With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Ann West of Farragut, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her grandmother Woods; her parents, John Russell Laymance and Charlene Woods Laymance; her sister Mary Laymance; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Laymance.

She is survived by : her nephews, Craig Davis, Josh Laymance and Tyler Clifton; her husband Garry West; her children, Michael West (Julie) and Stacey Maltman (Charlie); her grandchildren, Miranda Grimes (Jon), Justin West (Sarah), Abby West and Rylie Maltman; and her siblings, Johnny Laymance (Diana), David Laymance, Ronnie Laymance (Tammy), Bobby Laymance (Anna), Kathy Loy, Martha Clifton and Liz Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home (3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:45 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
